Anyone who has ever dragged a hose across the yard just to cool the air around the flower beds will understand Nora's Hydro Wind Spinner. The bronze-copper blades catch the breeze first. Then the outer ring begins to shimmer. Then, when the hose is connected, fine water slips through the tubes and turns a quiet garden corner into moving light.

What makes Nora's Hydro Wind Spinner special?

— A spinner that adds water to motion: The inner helix responds to the wind while the ring-mounted water tubes create a fine spray from a standard garden hose. It is part sculpture, part summer ritual, and part cooling sparkle for patios, beds, and lawn edges.

— Dual counter-rotating movement: Two layered rotor sections turn against one another to give the spinner depth instead of flat motion. Even a small breeze creates the kind of slow, dimensional movement that makes people stop and watch.

— A bronze and copper garden finish: The warm metal tones look at home beside daylilies, stone paths, weathered planters, and porch steps. The finish is made to feel aged, not shiny, with darker low points and copper highlights across the blade faces.

— Built around a ring-frame spray system: The outer circular frame does more than outline the flower shape. It holds the small fittings that route water into the display, so the piece can glint in sunlight while it turns.

— Designed by Nora Whitcomb: Nora is a former greenhouse display designer from Hendersonville, North Carolina, known for balancing garden pieces until they move smoothly and look settled in the landscape. Each spinner is prepared in small batches, checked for alignment, and finished with the kind of detail that belongs outdoors.

— Ready for the garden: The dark metal pole and ground stake install directly into soil, mulch, or a sturdy planter. Connect your garden hose, place it where breeze and sun can reach it, and let the water and wind do the rest.

Message from the Artist:

After years of making things by hand, our workshop is closing. These are the last pieces we'll ever ship. Every item on this page was made slowly, carefully, and with more love than any factory could replicate. Nothing rushed. Nothing outsourced. Just real craft from real hands.

We're proud of every single one. We hope they find good homes.

When they're gone, they're gone — and so are we.
